These places are famous for their rich folklore, vineyards and numerous wine cellars, as well as historical monuments. The resort is situated on the outskirts of the municipal forest, which is 10 hectares large. From one side it is surrounded by the peaks of the White Carpathians, on the other side there is a hilly region of Ch\u0159iby, with the Buchlov Fortress placed there. The local resort tradition began here in the early 20th century, when in the year of 1903 the local swamp waters were examined, and the close analysis confirmed their medicinal effect. Two mineral springs, rich in serum, silica, calcium, sodium, magnesium and iron, are mainly used for treatment of skin diseases and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This lake region is also known for its natural resources.
